Day 3 of Twelve Days of Christmas is a simple way to add a homemade touch to your Christmas presents.
What you need -
Blank tags Buff Tags
Washi tape Red and White Spotted Washi Tape
After that
pretty much anything goes!
I started by punching
a simple snowflake…..
…..With the second tag, I added a strip of washi
tape first before punching a snowflake. (One of the great things about washi tape is that
you can unpeel the tape if you don’t like the effect you’ve created.)
On the
third tag, I rescued the little snowflake I had just punched out and glued that
over a contrasting washi tape. (I only applied glue to the centre of the snowflake to give it a 3D effect.)
In the picture
above, I used two contrasting washi tapes with the snowflake I had punched
out of the first gift tag.
On
this gift tag, I applied washi tape to the long edge and trimed it to the shape
of the tag. Then simply punched two snowflakes in the tag.
The
last tag consisted of 3 snowflakes that I punched out of ordinary printer
paper. Again, I only glued the centre of the snowflake so that I could achieve a more
3D effect.
As
I said anything goes – go wild!
Enjoy your weekend.
Very Cute. New Follower!
